School of Biological Sciences - Faculty of Science

The School of Biological Sciences at the University of Auckland are seeking a highly motivated and capable teaching technician to support undergraduate teaching laboratories in Building 106 for the City Campus.

Applicants should have experience working in a teaching or research laboratory and preferably with a BSc in a Biological Sciences field.

Teaching experience would be an advantage with experience in preparing the set up for undergraduate teaching laboratories.

You will be supporting other technicians to prepare teaching labs for Stages 1 to 3 undergraduate teaching.

An ability to plan, organise, multitask, prioritise work demands and to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills are essential requirements for this position.

This is a professional staff level 5 position.
