The Equity Office team works within a complex, varied, busy environment. Our work includes strategy, governance, policy, projects, monitoring, evaluation and a wide range of initiatives including the University-wide Tuākana Learning Community for Māori and Pacific students, services for students with disabilities, and support for Equity Groups.
Reporting to the Director of Student Equity, you will be a key member of the Equity senior leadership team, providing high quality advice and support on equity policy. You will contribute to achieving equity outcomes through an integrated approach to planning, development, implementation, evaluation, monitoring, analysis and reporting on a comprehensive range of programmes and initiatives.
To be considered for this position, you should hold a relevant tertiary qualification and will have extensive experience in effective strategy, policy, quantitative and qualitative data analysis. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to adapt your working style to suit the audience while employing a partnership approach to service delivery.
The ability to engage with diverse people at all levels is key to the success of the Equity Office. You will be an effective listener who demonstrates sound judgement and integrity.
