Sales Manager DACH, Industrial Rubbers, Team Lead

With Team Lead responsibility for 3 Sales Managers, you will be providing a direct management function which includes providing guidance and advice on sales strategies, helping with training and development where needed, and motivating the team to create a strong sales pipeline and bring in healthy revenue streams to make the DACH region a successful sales market.

As Sales Manager for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) your core function will be to manage and develop sales in the region, mainly through your sales team but also through your own activites, developing new business in Switzerland and Austria, managing key accounts in Europe and creating product launch strategies for new product lines, allowing you to develop your skills in managing a successful operational and strategic balance.

This role will be based from the company's European headquarters which are located in the Düsseldorf area of Germany. In addition to their other regional sales offices in France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands they also have a manufacturing site in the UK which allows them to source from inside the EU, allowing them to be reactive to changes in the local market and stay ahead of their US and Asia based competitors.

The company you will be working are a developer and manufacturer of elastomers for rubbers and plastics specialising in the rubber industry. With R&D centres in 8 countries spread across 4 different continents and 12 manufacturing sites worldwide they have a huge geographical spread which allows them to claim the title as one of the market leaders in this area, making them a valuable company to include amongst your employers.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years sales experience of elastomer products
• Previous experience in formulating/synthesising elastomers essential
• Previous team management experience preferred
• Fluent German and a good level of English speaking
