The Senior Director of Materials Management will create, own and lead the processes and work execution for all activities within the Discovery & Analytical Solutions (DAS) Business and the Instruments portion of the Diagnostics (DX) Business which relate to: a) finished goods materials planning, scheduling, movement and reporting and b) customer order planning, logistics, fulfillment and reporting. This role will be tasked with leading a global team of PerkinElmer employees to successfully create and execute global, standard planning and operating procedures which enable and drive effective use of materials, finished goods inventory, outbound logistics services, operations planning tools and order fulfillment routines.

- Plan, coordinate, and provide leadership for complex materials, logistics and order fulfillment management projects and work tasks.
- Develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, including: customer care, sales teams, sourcing, purchasing, logistics, site teams, region teams and product managers.
- Create, maintain and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to all phases of materials management.
- Maintain and integrate into all teams’ efforts applicable current data, trends, regulations, developments, and advances in the area of materials management.
- Develop and implement appropriate and effective new processes within PerkinElmer which improve materials operations.
