Position Title: Scientific Services Specialist  (POD Operator)
Location: Boston, MA
Type of Assignment: Fulltime  

Job Description:

Reponsibilities:
One individual will be responsible to support daily instrument readiness of compound management integrated system (HRB) by:

• Performing quality control test laboratory automation instruments.
• Refilling REMP tubes with compounds for future repeats/requests.
• Maintaining appropriate documentation of instrument usage and maintenance history.
• Coordinating service events with OneSource.
• Maintaining laboratory stocks of supplies and reagents.
  The individual will also be responsible for processing project samples by:
• Re-formatting (cherry-pick/serial dilution) plates ordered from test requests (weekly/ad hoc).
• Plating (cherry-pick/serial dilution) for primary assays on-site.
• Shipping compounds to CRO.
• Experience into Liquid Handlers - BIORPTR, Hamilton, ECHO
• Experience in Lab Automation - Staubuli, HighRes BioSolutions, "Integrated systems".
• Experience into Lab management - inventory control, instrument validations.
• Experience into Robotics Arm is Mandatory.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or equivalent.
