The Davee Department of Neurology announces a new search to recruit an outstanding individual for a full-time, non-tenure eligible appointment at the level of ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, depending upon prior experience and clinical research accomplishments.
The applicant should hold an M.D. and/or M.D/Ph.D. degree, and board certified in Neurology. The appointee will have the potential to excel in the field of neuro-ophthalmology. The Neuro-Ophthalmology Service offers expert evaluation and consultation for treating neuro-ophthalmologic conditions, including: optic neuritis, idiopathic intracranial hypertension (pseudotumor cerebri), and visual or oculomotor complications of stroke, brain tumors, myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis, and orbital inflammatory syndrome among others. There are opportunities to conduct collaborative efforts with researchers and clinical faculty. In addition to teaching responsibilities there will be ample opportunities to participate in clinical research programs.
The proposed start date is negotiable. Salary is commensurate with experience.
