If you positively answered all three questions, we want to hear about you! A new process scientist / chemist position has come forward in one of the largest companies in pharmaceutical and chemistry industry.

As part of their team, you will fulfil some key responsibilities as a process chemist, involving fields such as process monitoring, process scale-up for small molecules, technology transfer, troubleshooting tasks - with plenty of chances to grow professionally in the future, and being autonomous of your own progression.

Additionally, you will become part of a cross-functional team leadership and/or membership, helping developing new products and improving existing ones. You will also work in CMC aspects and writing technical reports of regulatory dossiers.

The role is based in the Dublin area, in a unique and co-located technical and operational expertise office, which includes analytical and engineering expertise. The successful candidate will collaborate with different departments such as R&D, manufacturing, Quality, EHS and External Manufacturing, to ensure the efficiency of the production process.

What my client is looking for:

  • A chemistry (or related) degree - a relevant Masters or PhD would be an advantage.
  • 5+ years experience as a process scientist, with other relevant experience also considered.
  • A substantial experience working with active pharmacological ingredient (API) products.
  • Being familiar with chemistry, manufacturing and control (CMC) regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of 21CFR/cGMP documentation, electronic systems requirements and EHS requirements.
  • Great critical thinking and problem solving
  • Being able to show a successful driving process robustness performance in the past developing products.
