If you think the above is talking about you, search no more! A process scientist / chemist is needed for a global and leading company in the pharma industry.

Working as a process chemist, your main duties will include tasks such as process monitoring, process scale-up for small molecules, technology transfer, troubleshooting tasks - with opportunities for you to grow professionally in the future, and in an autonomous way.

Furthermore, as part of a cross-functional team leadership and/or membership, you will be involved in the developing and improvement of the company's top products. You will also collaborate in CMC aspects and write technical reports of regulatory dossiers.

The position, based in Dublin, is in a unique and co-located technical and operational expertise office, which includes analytical and engineering expertise. You will also collaborate with different departments such as R&D, manufacturing, Quality, EHS and External Manufacturing, maximizing the efficiency of the production process.

Position requirements:

  • A chemistry (or related) degree - a relevant Masters or PhD would be an advantage.
  • 5+ years experience as a process scientist, with other relevant experience also considered.
  • Deep knowledge about active pharmacological ingredient (API) products.
  • Being familiar with chemistry, manufacturing and control (CMC) regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of 21CFR/cGMP documentation, electronic systems requirements and EHS requirements.
  • Great critical thinking and problem solving
  • To have a tracked record of successfully driving process robustness performance with different products.
