Job Details
This project involves the study of aspects of the replication of foot-and-mouth disease virus and will be based in the picornavirus laboratories led by Professors Nicola Stonehouse and David Rowlands. The post is funded by the BBSRC as part of a 5-year St Andrews, Leeds, Edinburgh, Dundee, Pirbright Institute collaborative project.
You should have a PhD (or be close to completion) in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Virology or related discipline. A strong molecular biology research background is essential. You will join an enthusiastic and highly active research group studying various aspects of virology.
