Geotechnics Technician

We are looking for a professional and proactive individual to join our team and support teaching, research and general activities within the geotechnics facility. Providing advice to a diverse range of students and academic and research staff from across the University about analysis and testing of engineering soils, you will act as a point of expertise.

You will have extensive laboratory experience, gained in either academia or industry, ideally in the field of engineering soils, with the proven ability to take responsibility for laboratory management. You will also have experience in the use of laboratory and field equipment for testing construction materials, including data logging and storing results for later analysis.
