The role

The successful applicants will work with Lives Lived Well Professor of Alcohol, Drugs and Mental Health, Professor Leanne Hides, to conduct independent research within one or more fields of activity relevant to comorbidities in addictions and mental health. The appointees will supervise or co-supervise research students in relevant areas, and apply for both independent and collaborative funding relevant to the research focus.

The person

Applicants should have submitted or completed a PhD in psychology or a related area, and have the ability to develop, organise, complete and publish research outcomes in high quality outlets with demonstrated awareness of current international research trends. Experience in managing research projects is desirable.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

Remuneration

These positions are full-time, fixed term appointments at Academic Level B. The remuneration package will be in the range $92,142 - $109,419 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range of up to $107,806 - $128,020 p.a.).
