If you agree with all the above questions, keep reading! My client, an international industry leading pharma company is looking for a process scientist / chemist to join their team in Ireland.

As a process scientist, some of your responsibilities will cover areas such as process monitoring, process scale-up for small molecules, technology transfer, troubleshooting tasks - with the advantage of being autonomous of your own development, and a clear career progression path.

Additionally, you will be part of a cross-functional team leadership and/or membership, and you will participate in the development and improvement of some of my client's top products. You will also have insight in CMC aspects and write technical reports of regulatory dossiers.

The available role is based in Dublin, within a co-located technical and operational expertise office, including analytical and engineering expertise. You will also work alongside different departments such as R&D, manufacturing, Quality, EHS and External Manufacturing, making sure the products reach the market with a maximized efficiency during the production process.

Basic requirements:

  • A chemistry (or related) degree - a relevant Masters or PhD would be an advantage.
  • 5+ years experience as a process scientist, with other relevant experience also considered.
  • Deep knowledge about active pharmacological ingredient (API) products.
  • Being familiar with chemistry, manufacturing and control (CMC) regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of 21CFR/cGMP documentation, electronic systems requirements and EHS requirements.
  • Great critical thinking and problem solving
  • To have a tracked record of successfully driving process robustness performance with different products.
