We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to work proactively to increase the quantity and quality of applications for postgraduate study at the University of Southampton. This will include representing the University at recruitment events, such as postgraduate education fairs nationwide and preparing and delivering presentations to promote the Southampton offer.  You will be expected to work with a range of internal and external beneficiaries to develop a detailed understanding of the PG applicants’ decision making process and use this knowledge to develop and enhance the programme of postgraduate recruitment activity across the University, ensuring an effective and co-ordinated approach.  You will have direct line-management of one member of staff.

You will ideally possess a postgraduate qualification and be a confident presenter as well as having experience of organising and managing events. You will be adept at achieving ‘buy-in’ to new initiatives and enjoy working in partnership with a wide range of people. You will take a proactive approach to problem-solving and be able to use own initiative.  Experience in the development of online educational resources would be desirable.
