The University of Córdoba (UCO) invites applications to a 3-year early stage researcher position (PhD student) in GPU acceleration and heterogeneous computing within the EU project "HiPerNav" (High Performance soft-tissue Navigation, project. Duration 01/11/2016-31/10/2020), a Marie S. Curie - Innovative Training Network project. The student will be affiliated with the Department of Computer Architecture, Electronics and Electronic Technology.

The appointment of the PhD researcher will be made according to general rules of University of Córdoba (http://www.uco.es/investigacion/portal/images/doc/contratos/2016/Normativa_2016.pdf). Applicants must agree to participate in an organized doctoral study program within the period of the appointment and have to be qualified for the PhD-study. Allowances for the researcher consist of a “living allowance” (gross salary) of 3035,36€/month and a “mobility allowance” of 600€/month. In addition, a “family allowance” will be paid in case the supported researcher has family obligations. The net salary will result from deducting all compulsory (employer/employee) social security contributions as well as direct taxes. Women are encouraged to apply.
