The successful candidate will perform research related to the design, synthesis, and development of novel nanomaterials for high efficiency, low cost and stable organic and hybrid solar cells, utilizing GRMs. The candidate is expected to design, implement and conduct research in the fabrication and characterisation of organic and perovskite solar cells, maintain lab management, train and assist new postgraduate students, monitor the performance of the equipment infrastructure and participate in current research projects and proposals. Furthermore, the candidate is expected to produce high quality scientific papers suitable for publication in high impact factor journals and contribute to relevant research proposals.

The candidate is expected to make use of the research line for the fabrication and characterization of printable PVs (Two fully automatic controlled glove boxes. Solvent glove box with spin coater, UV/ozone cleaner and hot plates. Dry glove box with integrated metal vapour deposition system, in-situ probe station, solar simulator and quantum efficiency setup. Moreover, advanced characterization facilities, such a SKPM/AFM and transient photocurrent/photovoltage and photo-CELIV will be available.

Successful candidates can expect the equivalent salary for an assistant professor in Greece. The initial contract will be for 1 year with the possibility of a 2 year extension.
