Job Details

The Foundation “La Caixa” has opened a new programme offering 57 positions for doing a Ph.D. in the fields of engineering, physics, mathematics, technology, life and health sciences in top Spanish research centres awarded with the excellence distinctions “Severo Ochoa”, “María de Maeztu” or “Carlos III”. BGSMath, as one of the institutions holding an excellence distinction, is a host institution in the programme.

The positions are for 3 years and offer excellent working conditions and a very competitive salary.

BGSMath participates in the program offering research projects leading to a Ph.D. degree in the following areas: Algebraic geometry, Algebraic topology, Biomathematics, Biostatistics, Combinatorics, Complex dynamics, Computer Science, Dynamical systems, Function theory, Machine Learning, Mathematical modelling, Model theory, Non-commutative algebra, Number theory, Partial differential equations, Symplectic geometry.
