Job Details
The School of Graduate Studies is the central service division with oversight of doctoral programmes within the University of Auckland. The team provides and facilitates support to students and their supervisors throughout the doctoral lifecycle. We also promote the University as a graduate destination for both domestic and international students.
This pivotal role is critical to the School’s and University’s objectives, planning and decision-making through the provision of accurate and timely information and reports. You will develop and enhance reports to meet information needs, and contribute to the reporting environment. You will develop high levels of expertise in University student management systems and processes for research students, liaise across the organisation around development, testing and maintenance, and you will support the School of Graduate Studies staff around systems and business processes.
To be successful in this position, you will:
- Have a strong sense of curiosity and attention to detail
- Demonstrate an understanding of the tertiary education environment and the business processes associated with the administration of research, teaching and learning
- Demonstrate relevant experience particularly in business intelligence and in student management systems or similar
- Possess a relevant qualification
