The role

The School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences is currently seeking a Teaching and Research Lecturer in Socio Cultural Studies for a 4 year term. The appointee will undertake postgraduate teaching, research, and service and engagement in Socio Cultural Studies and other relevant disciplines. The position will be based at The University of Queensland's St Lucia campus.

The person

Candidates should possess should possess a PhD in Socio Cultural Studies or similar discipline. The applicant should have a demonstrated ability to perform and teach Socio Cultural Studies relevant to the School to a high standard at postgraduate and undergraduate levels. The person should have high level verbal and written communication skills, high level organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, fixed term until 15/1/2021 at Academic Level B. The remuneration package will be in the range $92,142.71 - $109,419.20 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $107,806.97 - $128,020.46 p.a.).
