Inks Development Expert, Solvent-Borne Systems, Hannover

This is a new opportunity to step into the role of Development Expert for Solvent-Borne Inks systems with a focus on formulations work in the laboratory. As a key part of a 4 man development team, you will be helping with redeveloping the existing product lines as well as managing new technology projects with a run-time of approximately 2-3 years, giving you the chance to maintain your formulations expertise whilst gaining expertise at the forefront of Inks Technology.

The company you will be joining specialise in the development of finished inks & coatings products and also have their own product line of specialty additives for coatings. With almost 2,000 employees worldwide and their European headquarters in northern Germany at Hannover, the company are one of the most renowned Inks manufacturers worldwide, so working for them is a great way to further build your CV profile and will make you a highly desirable candidate in the industry.

This position will be reporting into the R&D Manager who oversees all projects related to the development of solvent-borne Inks with 12 people under his management and a further 20 people in the laboratories on-site in Hannover, so you will be joining a large team with a lot of shared expertise where you can pool your knowledge with other development specialists allowing you to become an authority in several fields.

Requirements:

• Completed training as a Lacklaborant
• At least 4 years experience in Research & Development
• Proven expertise & knowledge in developing solvent-borne Inks
• Knowledge of UV curable systems preferred but not essential
• Minimum B2 level German essential
