Summary of Opportunity

The Department of Neurology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, announces the search for an academic neurologist, fellowship trained in Movement Disorders to join its growing program. Applicants must have a strong interest in patient care, basic or clinical research, and the teaching of medical students and residents. Qualified applicants will possess an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. with BE/BC in Neurology along with additional training from an ACGME accredited movement disorder fellowship program. The successful candidate will be in possession of or be eligible to obtain an unrestricted medical license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Temple University Hospital Neuroscience Center's Movement Disorders Program is a premier program in the region for evaluating and treating patients with all forms of movement disorders. The Center, at Boyer Pavilion, builds on Temple's rich history of pioneering in the treatment of movement disorders. A highly skilled, multidisciplinary medical team of neurologists and neurosurgeons in consultation with physical therapists, psychiatrists and rehabilitation physicians offers comprehensive diagnostic and treatment capabilities that provide patients with the most advanced treatments available today.
