Job Details
An exciting role has become available to support the vibrant research community of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Bristol: “UNDT Project Officer”. The role involves management of all administrative, contractual and financial matters relating to a multi-contract programme of research and impact-acceleration projects funded by EPSRC, MoD and industry (and potentially Innovate UK), all relating to the non-destructive testing of materials. The role covers support for the Ultrasonics and Non-destructive Testing (UNDT) research group, including Professor Robert Smith and his management of a team of up to 17 researchers, students, visiting fellows and contractors, as well as assistance with submitting bids for future grants and industry-funded projects.
You will be part of the wider Industrial Liaison Office team (~30 staff), which provides support and a team environment.
