Job Details
My client is a market leading international consultancy, with offices around the world. They offer multiple services and are very strong present in the Regulatory, Environmental and Sustainable side within the chemical industry.
In this Position you will start as an Eco-toxicological REACH Registration Specialist, advising multiple clients on chemical safety for projects concerning onsumer and industrial safety.
Your Tasks will consist of:
- Doing environmental Risk assessments for REACH
- Write the relevant parts of the dossier to support REACH registrations
- Study monitoring
- Evaluate literature and study reports
- Direct communication with Project leaders, colleagues, Clients and Authorities
To be successful:
- You have a scientific degree (Eg, (eco) Toxicology, environmental chemistry or (micro) Biology)
- Proven experience in consultancy or the industry, Having (eco) toxicology study monitoring experience is a big pre
- Strong knowledge with Environmental Risk Assessments, Fate, Exposure Scenarios
- Regulatory experience with REACH, CLP. Iuclid and EUSES/Chesar is a big pre
- You are strong communicator and a true advisor. With a strong passion for your field of expertise.
You will become part of an experienced team and will work together with other specialists on a project base. This will give you exposure to other legislations and will give you the chance to expand your current skill-set along the way, safeguarding your position after the 2018 deadline. At the same time there are clear growth opportunities available ranging from Senior Specialist, to Project and line manager!
