The Pharmacology department is seeking a scientist to join the Chemical Biology group who has experience in cell-based assay development, high-content imaging and is familiar with either small molecule screening, CRISPR and/or gene signature generation to interrogate protein-ligand interactions. Hands-on experience in cell culture and biosample preparation (cells, tissues, organs, etc). is required with preference given to candidates with direct experience in primary or 3-D cell culture approaches. A successful candidate will be able to design cell-based experiments using genetic and pharmacological manipulation of pathways and proteins in relevant cell systems to characterize molecular mode of action of tool molecules. The successful applicant will have a track record of achievement, independently designing and executing experiments with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and excellent communication and collaborative skills. A Ph.D. in Biology with 8 or more years of industrial experience is required.
