The Philson Library provides resources and services to staff and students of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, University of Auckland. We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and friendly people for two Desk Assistant positions to join us on a part time, fixed term basis.

The work is varied and includes; staffing the lending desk, answering lending enquiries, issuing, returning and shelving books and other related clerical tasks.

We want applicants who enjoy working with people, have a strong customer service ethic and can work successfully in a team. Punctuality and computer literacy are essential qualities.

Position details:

Position 1: Desk Assistant

Type: Fixed term until 22 Dec 2017

Start Date: 1 February 2017

Regular shifts:

Thursday 6pm - 10pm

Saturday 10am -6pm (8 hours with a 30 minute unpaid meal break)

 

Position 2: Desk Assistant

Type: Fixed term until 22 Dec 2017

Regular shifts:

Monday to Thursday 2pm - 6pm

Friday 2pm – 8pm
