A OneSource Customer/Field Service engineer will provide onsite service for a wide variety of Pharma related equipment including but not limited to FPLC, LC, GC , LCMS, GCMS, Mass Spec, TOF, Liquid Handling and other Lab analytical technologies including associated software through-out the New England region. Service activities include Preventative and Corrective maintenance, relocation as well as validation at the GMP/GLP level.
The Customer/Field Service engineer will also help develop new business through the growth of asset base and program additions including LabIT and Scientific Services. Assist and support local sales representative securing new instrument orders of PerkinElmer products. Contribute to account profitability through continuous improvement actions and training.
Qualified candidates must be able to work independently and be able to demonstrate sound judgment in time management, use of company resources and the ability to utilize field reporting applications for documentation purposes including inventory and Field Service reporting.
In an effort to continually develop skills the Customer Support Engineer will take an active role in developing technical skills and soft skills to maintain and enhance PerkinElmer’s value proposition to the customer. Seek higher level certification through participation in company sponsored training & development initiatives.
