Job Details
Aga Khan University Hospital invite applications for the position of Technician, Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine Service Line.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- conducting head to toe assessment on each assigned patient
- regulating and monitoring IV fluids
- interpreting and communicating panic lab results
- utilizing SBAR technique to notify patients' condition
- planning and prioritizing to provide best quality care according to patient needs
- monitoring vital sign, blood sugar and central venous pressure (CVP) of patient, record in the patient file
- monitoring and interpreting heart rhythm 12 lead ECG and notifying physician and Nurse
- performing dressing of wounds
- applying Casts for fractures.
Requirements
You must have:
- a Matriculation; Intermediate will be preferred
- Nursing Technician training course at AKUH or equivalent
- minimum one to two years of related experience (preferred)
- willingness to work in shift duties during the day.
