The School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences' vision is to be an international leader in the study of human movement and nutrition, demonstrating excellence through innovative, creative, and dynamic teaching and research, in a vibrant, interdisciplinary, and engaging environment. The School holds a leadership position in its field in the Australian tertiary environment and is highly regarded for its teaching, research and community outreach programs.
The role
The School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences is currently seeking Teaching-Focussed Senior Lecturer/s in Sports Medicine. The appointee/s will undertake postgraduate teaching, scholarship of teaching, and service and engagement in Sports Medicine and other relevant areas. The position/s will be based at The University of Queensland's St Lucia campus.
The person
Candidates should possess should possess a Bachelor's degree or post-graduate qualification in Medicine and be current practicing medical practitioner. The applicant should have a demonstrated ability to perform and teach Sports Medicine on line to a high standard at postgraduate level. The person/s should have a high level of verbal and written communication skills, high level of organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Remuneration
This is a part-time (0.2 FTE), two year fixed term, teaching focussed academic appointment at Academic Level C. It is possible for this position to be job shared. The remuneration package will be in the range $112,874.46 - $130,150.91 p.a. (pro-rata), plus employer superannuation contributions of 9.5% (total package will be in the range $123,597.53 to $142,515.24 p.a. pro-rata).
