Job Details
Based in the Engineering Faculty within the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Bristol this is an exciting opportunity to join a strong technical team. This post is to support the day to day running of the busy Electrical & Electronic Teaching Laboratories for undergraduate and postgraduate students from across the Faculty of Engineering. Responsibilities will include the setting up of experimental and teaching equipment and assisting the senior technician in supporting the classes and ensuring all equipment is in good working order and fit for purpose. It will be the responsibility of the post holder to ensure all health and safety procedures are followed and to keep staff and students safe while working in the laboratory.
The ideal candidate will have GCSE or equivalent in Math’s, English and a science subject and a health and safety qualification.
This post is offered on a full time basis on an open ended contract.
