Geriatrician

UHS Medical Group is a progressive multi-specialty group with a large primary care base, consisting of 200+ physicians providing care in over 20 medical and surgical specialties in multiple locations. The group is affiliated with United Health Services Hospitals, the regional leader in healthcare located in Binghamton, NY. There is a strong market presence in the region and an excellent referral base.
 
We are seeking a fellowship trained Geriatrician for a busy, well established practice.  Our Geriatricians work in many different settings such as nursing homes, assisted care facilities and in an outpatient geriatric evaluation clinics. They participate in the ortho-geriatric model of care to provide optimal perioperative care to older adults undergoing major joint replacement in an inpatient setting that is currently being established. Opportunities exist to obtain a Medical Director position in our local nursing homes.  They is a minimal phone call schedule.
