My client, a leading multidisciplinary organisation are currently looking for an experienced Procurement Leader to join them for a brand new opportunity in their sights in the North of Germany.

However this position is not for your everyday Procurement professional. This opportunity is a hybrid position between business development and Procurement, so if you are looking for something challenging this year then this position could be for you. Instead of buying pharmaceutical products or generics, you will be responsible for buying services - this opportunity is great for someone who has a strong network in the pharmaceutical market and knows who are the best supplier and offer the best services when it comes to identifying the best manufacturing and production sights. It is important that you know who the go to people are for medical writing, CRO's an other functions related to the Pharmaceutical industry.

In this position you will be responsible for all strategical purchasing. Having the chance to be responsible for all sourcing negotiation whilst working closely with high calibre professionals, will allow you to work independently but also work with a great team whilst learning and gaining more experience in the business. As they are a growing company they need someone who knows how to deal with all their products, whilst ensuring that this is done in a strategical manner. You will also be responsible for the procurement team - this position is great for someone who enjoys leadership and developing people.
