Job Details

We are seeking motivated colleagues to fill in two vacant positions of Ph.D. student at newly formed Laboratory of Biomolecular Interactions and Transport (www.labbit.eu). Successful candidates will study mechanisms of action of biomedically and biotechnologically interesting proteins and their interactions with a host of small molecules by using the state-of-the-art computational methods. The laboratory is located in Poznan, Poland, and is jointly affiliated to the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw and the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Faculty of Biology, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan – both rank among the top research institutes in Poland.
Examples of available research topics    
- modeling of molecular mechanisms in function of proteins
- study of effects of mutations on protein function
- discovery of novel inhibitors of enzymes
- projects driven by your own ideas
