Job Details
Funded by the EPSRC, the project will involve the development of synthetic methods that aim to use the mechanistically unique reactivity of ureas and their congeners to provide practical, selective, transition-metal-free approaches to the synthesis of functionalised biologically active compounds containing nitrogen functionality, including quaternary amino acids, medium ring heterocycles, and highly functionalised amines.
