Geriatrician Clinician-Educator

The Glennan Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) seeks a full-time clinician-educator to join a superb group of clinicians in the prestigious and richly endowed Division of Geriatrics in the Department of Internal Medicine. The Center is expanding its clinical programs in inpatient geriatric consultation, an ACE unit, skilled nursing facilities, hospice and palliative medicine. The clinician will help us to grow the inpatient consultation service at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, the highest-rated hospital in Southeastern Virginia and our major clinical partner. The successful candidate is board certified in internal medicine and fellowship trained in geriatrics; and committed to education of geriatric fellows, internal medicine residents, medical students, and physician extenders. EVMS is located in beautiful Southeastern Virginia surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The area is serene and lifestyle is outstanding.
