Clinical Educator in the Division of General Internal Medicine (GIM) at Eastern Virginia Medical School located in Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities: GIM faculty attend on the inpatient teaching teams at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital adjacent to the EVMS campus. Critically ill patients are managed on a separate ICU team covered by intensivists. GIM faculty see private outpatients in our resident faculty practice and also precept residents in underserved clinics. Academic development is encouraged and GIM faculty are an integral part of the school's teaching programs.
Qualifications: MD degree and clinical experience is required.
