QC Test Technician

Summary: Responsible for evaluating QC assay results of high volume production Microfluidic LabChip products. Enhance customer experience by driving improvements in product, protocol, and training. Evaluate assay results to improve or develop new processes, or to develop applications of findings to new uses for microfluidic based biochemical assays. Assess existing processes and/or products in order to optimize and produce final result within specifications. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work in a high volume Microfluidic QC lab
  • Interface with Assay Development to understand functional requirements of various products
  • Interface with Process Engineeringand Production to improve reliability of processes which impact assay performance
  • Review assay test data to determine pass\fail criteria.
  • Performs production processes in accordance with documented specifications and production schedules
• Use software tools to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
• May be requested to provide operational or technical assistance to engineering personnel on process development and/or process improvement projects.
• Participates in recommending improvements that result in sustained productivity gains.
• May be requested to work with engineering to determine methods and procedures on new assignments,
• Interacts with other team members toward the solution of problems and the fulfillment of manufacturing objectives, and participate in natural work group teams for continuous improvement.
• Assists and trains other employees as required
