Organisational Performance & Improvement

This position provides Business Analysis to our University partners in Alumni Relations & Development and Campus Life, enabling their success through effective use of IT.  It operates within our Shared Applications Services group.

Campus Life is our Service Division, supporting all aspects of delivering an engaging and inclusive campus experience for our students.  Alumni Relations & Development is our centralised point of contact for alumni, friends of the university, and philanthropy.  It is currently at the centre of the most ambitious fundraising campaign in New Zealand history.

Strategic applications used by these areas include MedTech for patient management, CENTAMAN for leisure centre management, and Raisers Edge for donor management.

What are we looking for?

  • You’ll have a passion for understanding business plans and drivers, and for helping make these reality.  You’ll also have a knack for getting to the core, and relish being the facilitator between technology and the business.
  • You bring the ability to multitask, successfully keeping a number of balls in the air while making sure the business is always updated.  You’re also flexible and enjoy working in an Agile environment.
  • You have great people skills, meaning you build successful relationships across all levels of an organisation.  You know the value of collaboration, which is on display with your confident, well‑practiced facilitation.
  • Your learning agility and thirst for knowledge are beacons for others.

Exposure to the specific applications will be considered favourably.
