The role
The successful applicant will prepare ethics applications, recruit and test research participants, undertake data entry and analysis, review relevant literature and assist with drafting publications relating to a number of research studies on social cognitive ageing.
The person
Applicants should have an honours degree in Psychology, excellent written English, experience with quantitative research methods including collecting and analysing data, and an understanding of social cognitive assessment. The appointee will also have experiencing recruiting and testing older adults, the ability to conduct literature reviews and write up results, and excellent organisational skills.
Remuneration
This position is full-time, fixed term for 12 months at HEW level 5 with the possibility of renewal. The remuneration package will be in the range $64,597 - $72,348 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $75,579 - $84,648 p.a.).
