Job Details
SETsquared is an award-winning incubator, based in a historical Engine Shed building, right by Temple Meads station in the heart of Bristol, UK’s top tech city outside of London. We have a strong track record of successfully incubating almost 200 tech companies and fuelling growth of the local tech cluster.
The successful applicant will manage the community of 70 members of the incubator, identifying their needs and recommending tailored solutions responsive to their needs. You will also develop and implement strategies for reaching out to local organisations and attending networking events, to promote SETsquared and identify potential new members. The Community Manager’s role will also extend to a wider ecosystem, liaising with university, mentors, advisors, professional services firms as well as coordinating collaborative projects delivered in partnership with other organisations.
The ideal candidate will have a background managing community-building initiatives, experience of working with technology startups, and have excellent planning and communication skills.
For informal enquiries, please contact Monika Radclyffe, Centre Director of SETsquared Bristol, monika.radclyffe@setsquared.co.uk
The University is committed to creating and sustaining a fully inclusive culture. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities.
