The School of Clinical Sciences have a vacancy for an Administrative Assistant working in the Musculoskeletal Research Unit at Southmead Hospital.

You will provide administrative support to a research team carrying out a multi-centre study in England and Wales supporting the High Bone Mass study team during the data collection phase of their follow-up studies. The High Bone Mass study is a multi-centre study, investigating people with dense bones.

You will support the study co-ordinator and a PhD student, enabling the delivery of high quality research and efficient study management. The primary responsibility will be liaising with the teams at other NHS sites and study participants (aged 25-90 years) to ensure the smooth running of clinical appointments for X-rays and bone scans and the coordination of study documents, such as distributing and collecting consent forms and questionnaires, following the study protocol. The role will also involve data entry and maintenance of the study database and documentation.
