Sales Representative - LifeSciences/Laboratory Equipment - Suisse Romande/Western Switzerland

I'm currently recruiting for a new position as a Sales Representative for the lifescience industry for a company which is currently looking to expand their team in the European headquarters based in Switzerland.

Based in the beautiful Swiss Alps, my client is based directly in the tourist area offering you plenty things to do during your free time when you are in the office. Such an area will allow you never to be bored as well as a perfectly relaxed environment. As this position will be covering the Western region of Switzerland (Suisse Romandie), you will also benefit from covering a territory where there is already a large amount of growth and will receive support and training from an experienced management team.

Furthermore, due to its size, my client organises many company events for example summer BBQs and even mountain climbing! They truly have a fantastically fun environment which you can now be a part of. With their current expansion plans, this team is only expected to grow bigger and better as they continue to grow on a European level.

As a Sales Representative, your main duties will be:

  • Checking the market and customer needs
  • Planning and implementing sales strategies
  • Acquiring new customers to help expand sales across Geneva/Lausanne/Neuchatel
  • Working closely with the Marketing & R&D teams to ensure successful launches and campaigns

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A strong background within the laboratory/lifescience field
  • 1-2 years experience in sales within the lifescience or laboratory field is beneficial
  • Fluency in French & English with a strong understanding of German
  • Willingness to travel 40-50% on a local level in Switzerland
