My client is a global provider with more than one manufacturing site in Europe and with one of their largest facilities located in Italy and is looking to develop a stronger client base by hiring a highly driven and motivated sales manager.

The group has solid investment plans for the future and your role would be crucial for their growth both in the short and long term period.

Since day one you will arrange meetings with both historical and prospect clients mostly in Europe but effectively all across the globe, while having a high degree of freedom in organizing you day to day activities. The ability to work autonomously will therefore be absolutely crucial.

The main tasks of the candidate will include:


  • Maintain relationship to existing and potential clients, providing support for resolution of commercial and technical inquiries, contract negotiations
  • Responsible of the communication to and the relationship with clients
  • Management of new potential commercial relations and business opportunities
  • Carry out continuous market analysis and research on the accounts to improve sales strategy

  • The ideal candidate will have:


  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Business Development or similar gained within the pharma, food or biotech industry
  • Profound knowledge in quoting and negotiating Contract Manufacturing Organization contracts
  • Master degree in Pharmacy or Chemical sciences or Biology or Biotechnologies
  • Outstanding communication skills and customer service philosophy
  • Fluent English, written and spoken. A second language would be absolutely a plus
