Faculty Officer - Postgraduate Office

Applications are invited for the above post in the Faculty of Humanities The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the Senior Faculty Officer in the provision of a one-stop service process for new and returning undergraduate and postgraduate students. This includes maintaining ongoing contact with students, implementing and maintaining administrative processes, assisting with the coordination of faculty committee meetings, ad hoc meetings, enrollments, end of year processes and graduations.

Requirements
Matric, a Bachelor degree would be an advantage, a minimum of 3 years administrative experience in a Faculty Office or University environment. Experience in the Student System, MS Word, Excel, Email and Internet. Accuracy and attention to detail is essential.  Must be highly motivated and demonstrate initiative, have good public relations and organizational skills, a capacity to work independently, meet deadlines and communicate well.   Have good writing skills and be able to work in a team.
