Job description
 
This role supports manufacturing and QC operations 7 days a week. 
 
*** This position will require weekend and holiday support. ***
 
The position is responsible for:
  • Mfg sample pick-up 2-3 times daily or as required
  • QC Sample receipt and GMP documentation of sample moves
  • Transport, dispensing, and distribution to the internal and external testing labs
  • Annual Inspections and Inventory counts for Retain Material
  • Annual Inventory of Stability Material
  • Annual Inventory of Reference Standards
  • Receipt of incoming shipments and processing of temperature monitors
  • Ensure effective and robust processes for sample documentation filing, archival and retrieval.
  • And will be responsible for proper administration and adherence to client’s policies and procedures.
 
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Adherence to all, regulatory licenses and regulations,
  • Interfacing with key Quality and manufacturing customers, and
  • Coordinating inventory reconciliations with the impacted the QC department.
 
Qualifications
  • The position will require technical knowledge regarding QC/QA and Manufacturing process as related to management of samples.  
  • The position requires but is not limited to the following:
  • Ability to communicate with management and peers effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple activities in parallel.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated instrument/method troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of FDA/EMEA regulations and compliance
 
 
Education/Experience
  • AS degree, BS degree, or technical degree (1-2 year college) 
  • 0-2 years in comparable/related role with sample management experience and some cGMP experience
