This position will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical power systems. An intimate knowledge of electrical switchgear, motor control centers, transformers, emergency generators and protective relays. This individual must be able direct and supervise electrical power installations and repairs.
This individual must be familiar with NFPA 70, and NFPA 70E. The candidate must be knowledgeable of electrical load flow studies, short circuit studies, electrical coordination and Arc Flash. The individual must be able to work in an industrial atmosphere. The candidate must be able to respond to electrical emergencies on a 24/7 basis.
The individual must be able to work safely and direct the safe work of others.
Qualifications
Education:
- Required: BS in Electrical Engineering
Required:
- Minimum five (5) years experience in Electrical Power Systems Engineering.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a Union Environment.
- Experience with regulatory requirements beneficial.
- PE License preferred.
