Job Details

Do you have experience of organising events and managing budgets? Are you confident and self-motivated with a proactive approach to work? Do you have excellent communication and organisation skills?

The Leeds University Business School is an internationally renowned centre of business excellence, collaborating with organisations regionally, nationally and internationally to deliver Executive Education. Executive Education translates research knowledge into practice and offers solutions to meet business challenges, such as encouraging innovation, improving leadership, to shifting competitive landscape.

As a member of our small, tight-run team you will apply your communications and organisational skills on a daily basis, using your experience of engaging with multiple stakeholders to organise courses and events with large corporate organisations, public bodies and small businesses. You will have a confident and professional manner when communicating and you will be able to prioritise, remain deadline focused and calm under pressure.

You will bring your IT skills, and professional knowledge of social media, to drive communications and stakeholder engagement. You will use your budgetary management skills to deal with purchases and contract negotiations, and your data analysis and interpretation skills to report on market activity. You will also require some flexibility, as late finishes and weekend work are sometimes required.
