Job Details

Are you confident and self-motivated with a proactive approach to work? Do you have excellent communication and organisation skills? Would you like to support the recruitment and selection of participants to our Business Programme?

The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK (UK 10KSB) programme is designed to provide free high-quality, practical education and business support to small businesses and social enterprise leaders who desire to grow their businesses, create local employment and have scalable business models. UK 10KSB is designed by leading experts has been run by the Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Studies and has been part of Leeds University Business School since 2010.  From 2016 the programme has been run nationally in partnership with the University of Aston, Manchester Metropolitan and the University of Oxford.

You will provide essential operational support and critical data to support the execution of the national recruitment strategy and help to attract high quality applicants. UK 10KSB attracts approximately 350 applications per cohort, so to provide effective recruitment and selection support you will need to be proactive with strong organisational and administration skills. You will have an excellent eye for detail and an interest in recruitment and selection. As you will work closely with the Head of Enterprise Programmes, the Recruitment Manager and colleagues from partner universities you will also need excellent communication skills.

You will work 17.5 hours per week, but you will require some flexibility as you will sometimes be required to work outside office hours, 9a.m. to 5p.m., and, very occasionally, part of the weekend. Additionally, from time-to-time, you will also need to travel nationally.
