Job Details
You will be responsible for developing an open-source software tool that will serve three purposes: (1) as a prototyping tool to facilitate and streamline the development of computational methods in medical imaging, (2) facilitate the sharing of these tools between basic scientists in our institute and world-wide and reduce duplication of efforts; (3) as a translational tool to facilitate the independent application of novel methods in ongoing or future clinical studies locally and with international partners.
You will also support specific research projects, by prototyping dedicated modules. A particular emphasis will be on a 5-year, 30M euro international project funded by the Innovative Medicines Initiative, aiming to improve the diagnosis of patients with diabetic kidney disease.
