Duties and responsibilities:

  • Handle the administration of the applications, selections, admissions and graduations.
  • Enforce the UFS regulations related to applications and admissions.
  • Communicate information regarding applications, admissions and graduations directed at both the internal and external role-players.
  • Accept responsibility for quality control in terms of data recording, regarding academic applications, and the capturing of data regarding biographical information, admissions and graduations.
  • Handle enquiries received from study centres, students and staff.
  • Liaise with different stakeholders, such as UFS Bloemfontein Campus, prospective students and registered students.
  • Inherent requirements:

  • Grade 12.
  • Required competencies:

  • Competent in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication within the Higher Education sector.
  • Must be able to function very well under pressure.
  • Need to prioritise.
  • Should work well independently or in a team.
  • Need to take responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Recommendations:

  • Thorough knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
  • Experience in processing of student applications, registrations and graduations.
