We seek an outstanding and innovative professional for the role of Director of External Relations. This senior position will be responsible for the strategic enhancement of the University’s reputation, profile and influence locally, nationally and globally. Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Corporate Communications this role will be responsible for the development and management of our brand and marketing, internal and external communications, corporate communications and events, alumni and stakeholder relations.

You will be an experienced communications and marketing leader with a clear understanding of the broad policy environment of higher education and the diverse relationships that institutions need to nourish to be successful. You will enjoy leading in a competitive context and be ambitious to develop our team, playing a crucial collaborative role in Leeds Beckett’s future success.
