Job Details
A post is available on an open ended contract with funding until February 28th 2018 initially, but there may be a possibility of an additional post. The successful candidate will work with key users from across the University to support the implementation phase of a major programme to improve the processes and systems relating to the Student Lifecycle at University of Bristol from recruitment and admissions through to enrolment, assessment and graduation.
Business Analyst duties at University of Bristol include process review and re-design, requirements and benefits identification, user experience design, user acceptance testing and other business analysis activities to support the full project implementation life-cycle. The roles in the Student Lifecycle Support Programme implementation team will also require flexibility, good organisational skills and a team attitude. You will lead or support workshops to design new and efficient work processes that significantly enhance the student experience through the student journey.
Business Analysts at the University of Bristol must have significant relevant experience, a sound knowledge of process review, business analysis and system development methods gained on strategically important, high profile projects and a strong IT background. Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of Prince II Project Management principles are required. Good communication, interpersonal skills and an ability to work with a wide range of staff in a rapidly changing environment are essential.
For project critical reasons successful candidates must be available straight away or not more than 3 months from offer.
